§ 17.32.050. Maintenance of signs.

  • All signs and their appurtenances shall be kept in good repair and safe condition. Low maintenance materials shall be used for permanent signs. The surface to which the sign is affixed shall be properly maintained. It shall be repaired so as to provide a safe, structurally sound, noneroding, nondeteriorating surface, with no loose or dangling parts.

    If any sign is deemed to be unsafe by the department of inspectional services, it shall be repaired, or removed immediately by the property owner.
