§ 17.24.100. Automobile service stations—Abutting Residence districts—Requirements.

  • Automobile service stations which abut Residence districts shall provide a strip at least five feet wide along each such abutting line, densely planted with shrubs or trees which are at least four feet high at the time of planting and which are of a type that may be expected to form a year-round opaque screen at least six feet high within three years. Such plantings shall be maintained in good condition at all times, and shall not be permitted to exceed seven feet in height. Such screening or barrier may be interrupted by normal entrances or exits, and shall have no signed or other advertising devices hung or attached thereto.
