§ 17.20.090. Open space.

A.

Residence Districts — Minimum Requirements. Every lot in a Residence B, C and D district shall include usable open space having not less than the minimum area for each such residence district as specified in Section 17.20.040

B.

Minimum Dimension for Eligible Open Space. Open space shall be deemed eligible for calculating the open space requirement as specified in Section 17.20.040 only if each dimension is at least five feet, as defined in Section 17.08.020

C.

Patios and Balconies. The minimum requirement for open space per each dwelling unit in Residence C and D districts having a patio or exterior balcony as defined in Section 17.08.020 may be reduced by fifty percent of the total area of such balcony, but in no case more than fifty square feet.
