§ 17.04.090. Director of inspections—Duties—Certificates of occupancy—Issuance—Contents—Term.

  • No land shall be occupied or used and no building or structure, erected or structurally altered, shall be occupied or used in whole or in part for any purpose until a certificate of occupancy has been issued by the director of inspections stating that all buildings and use of premises comply with the provisions of this title and the building code of the city. A certificate of occupancy becomes void immediately upon termination of the use for which it was issued.
