§ 17.04.080. Director of inspections—Duties—Flood Plain District administration.

  • In order to ensure the proper administration of the Flood Plain District established under Chapter 17.36, the director of inspections shall:

    A.

    Review proposed development to assure that all necessary permits have been or are in the process of being obtained from those governmental agencies from which approval is required by state or federal law;

    B.

    Obtain and maintain records of: The elevation to which any structure has been floodproofed; the floodproofing certificates required under said district; and whether or not the structure has a basement.
